Today I fly off with the chap and the pooch to the U.S. to set up another base for us. We will temporarily be making a home in Boston to branch out both our businesses: for me to test out the U.S. market, and for the chap to set up his firm’s second stateside office. We haven’t planned to be out there forever (I couldn’t possibly survive without proper tea, bread and M&S), but wanted take the opportunity whilst we still can be semi-mobile.
Fear not, wonderful customers, Qtique will continue to run as normal. All our mugs will still be gloriously British, being handmade in Stoke-on-Trent and distributed from the Cotswolds by our happy helpers. If you read the blog or follow me on social media, there will be a bit of an American injection (think burgers and Lottie’s adventures conquering the city), but apart from that it’s still all systems go! We are very proud to have the chance to fly our little flag over there.
The only change really will be for me, as I will have another place to hop back and forth and across from and sometimes will be running the business a little further away. I’ll be working between London, the Cotswolds and Boston and am looking forward to growing Qtique with the opportunities that are happening both sides of the pond. This means more locations, more travel and lots of lovely new customers to enjoy a little British luxury.
I hope you enjoy reading about our new adventures.
